Stopping on both sides during printing, printing speed is slow, sudden shutdown
cause of issue:
1. The connectors on both ends of the printed cable are loose;
2. the print line is too long;
3. The photo machine does not recognize the ECP print port of the computer;
Solution:
1. The length of the printed cable is too long or the quality is poor. Will affect the correctness of data transmission
It is recommended to use an IEEE, 1284 double shielded ECP cable less than 3 meters in length;
2. Check if the connectors on both ends of the print cable are loose.
Then change the power and data lines to check if the problem is on the cable;
3. Set the print port in CMOS. The specific operations are as follows:
Restart the computer and press DEL to enter CMOS when the computer performs hardware self-test.
Set, enter the INTEGRATED PER IPHERALS function option,
Set Parallel Port Mode to ECP and save it last.
Exit the BIOS setup.
